Chinese New Year 2021

Hi Chi Friends.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! 2021 is the Year of the Metal Ox

Today is the start of the Lunar calendar year which is always a special time that would usually come with festivities and extensive celebration. However, since situations may require us to be apart at the moment, we can still celebrate with wisdom, contemplation and fruitful meditation.

Archyde.com explores how to take care of your health in the year of the Ox of the Chinese calendar:

"Regarding health, this will be a period in which self-care will play a fundamental role to stay away from anxiety, worry and health problems associated with organs of the digestive system. 'We must be especially careful with the stomach and the spleen, pancreas.. We must be especially careful with what we are eating, the hours we are eating them,' Rubiano explained to Pulzo.

Another of the self-care habits that should be put into practice is to respect sleeping spaces and rest.

'The way to weaken human beings is to tire them, not let them sleep and deplete them electromagnetically, which has to do with all media.'

For that reason, according to the acupuncturist, the activities of the day should be divided into three parts. 'The day should be divided into 8 hours to sleep, 8 hours to work and 8 hours to rest', he pointed.

Finally, emotions also play a very important role in self-care,

'To be able to have a good emotional processing either with the support network or if we are entering moments of fatigue, depression and anxiety, seek help."

Keeping in line with that message, this Chinese New Year would be a good time to ask yourself:

"What action items can I take to continue boosting my health and prosperity?"

Let's make it a meaningful celebration by making a commitment towards caring for our bodies — our health and overall well-being — leading us to a further understanding of where we want to be as the year progresses.

As we start the Lunar year, we join with our Qi Family worldwide in celebration of this festive holiday together!

Happy New Year,

Scott
